SPRA Players Attend the 2012 Canadian Ringette Championships!
Eight (8) Sherwood Park players attended the 2012 Canadian Ringette Championships in Burnaby as part of the Zone 5 AA U16 and U19 teams. Both teams had much success early in the week but were eliminated in the quarter final round on Friday. At the closing ceremonies, Sadie Michael (U16) and Robyn Gillespie (U19) were selected for the All Star Second team.

The Ringette ABC program was developed using Baseball Canada’s Rally Cap Program in addition to existing ringette initiation programs as benchmarks, and by adding new ideas in order to create increased interest for participants.
